I began experiencing great discomfort in my lower back. After two months of “self adjusting” with exercise, massage, relaxation I was determined to get help from Chiropractic. As my symptoms worsened I sought advice from friends and family.
My brother in law, Donovan Gates, referred me to Dr. Lease as he had good experience with him.
The only negative factor was distance/time to travel to Redwood City. I was very thankful that Dr. Lease saw me almost immediately over a weekend.
My pain/discomfort began to lesson almost immediately and within 3-4 weeks was well within “normal” for me. I could resume exercise and work on a normal basis there after. Twice a month visits are currently sufficient to keep me healthy.
Perhaps the ability to turn my head without pain-more free movement in my neck-is the most unexpected benefit. I also seem to have gained back some height (1/4” or so)!

Dear Dr. Lease:
I come in with the knowledge that when I walk out, I will feel better. Regular check-ups keep me going and feeling well. I know that I must practice “good health” and maintain the exercises that have been shown to me.
Trust in you and your understanding of what will help me to continue my life pain-free, is very big.
The atmosphere at your office is safe, respectful, and above all, caring. The fees are reasonable and it helps to continue the process of regular visits. Insurance claims are handled in a timely manner and the patients’ interests are met.
Thank You Dr. Lease.

I had been suffering from neck and lower back pain because of stress and sitting in front of a computer for long periods of time. I had these pains for a bout a year already before I met Dr. Lease.
I had tried massages and working out at the gym. I chose Dr. Lease because massages were only giving me very temporary relief and when I would go to the gym I didn’t know what workout I needed to do to get rid of my problem.
I was just skeptical because I had never gone to a chiropractor before but it was a good experience from the beginning which made me comfortable coming back.
Since I started coming my lower back pain is almost completely gone. I understand my problem and what caused it and what I need to do to improve it and keep it that way.
I wasn’t expecting such quick results on my back but it had improved a lot within a week of treatment beginning. I also, feel more energetic specially because I can do more activities without the pain.

I was experiencing a lot of neck pain and some lower back pain. My lower back pain has been for many years but my neck pain was due to a yoga injury. I had a lot of restriction of movement in my neck!
Dr. Lease came highly recommended from my boyfriends parents, who has seen Dr. L for over 23 years. His is very educated, intelligent doctor, who treats the “whole body”. His knowledge is vast and from the little ailments to big-he has helped meal my body from the inside out.
Since working with Dr. L. the restriction of movement ahs greatly improved with the posture pump and Theraball exercises and treatment. I have gained flexibility, sleep better at night with the help of the chiropractic pillow (Therapeutica Pillow) which is helping to bring the natural curve back to my neck. I continue to experience more energy, better overall health, better sleep, and am more resilient.
Thank You Dr. Lease.

I have experienced chronic lower back pain since I was a teen-ager and it was becoming worse and worse, limiting greatly my activities. I also experienced frequent neck pain, although exercises and ice take care of that area.
I have been to chiropractors and physical therapists off and on all my life. Exercises seem to be very important and since Dr. Lease uses these techniques extensively, I decided to choose him. Also, a patient of his-a man in his 80’s- assured me that “Dr. Tim has kept me upright and off the operating table for 20years!!!!!”
I am becoming able to start gardening again. I can accomplish my volunteer work at the RC Library with less pain; I can work for longer periods of time; I am able to once again work part time at a local winery without pain.
It’s thrilling to be making progress in this physical area, when, at my age, there’s not a lot of physical changes that are positive!!!

Dear Dr. Lease:
I have developed foot problems over the past 25 years. My job requires I stand much of the day and the surface I stand on is cement. I didn't invest in the best footwear, or the cheapest. I didn't provide mats to stand on
I began to have pain that was manageable - mainly uncomfortable. As time went by it became more and more intolerable. I scheduled massages, went to a doctor, and stayed off my feet on weekends. My condition continued to get worse. I went to another doctor who said I had Plantar Fascilitis. He recommended high quality shoes and stretching my Achilles tendon. It helped getting good shoes but the pain was off the chart.
At work I had to sit to the point that I was ineffective. All extra curricular activities were out. I mentioned my foot problem to Dr. Lease and he thought he might be able to help. But he said, "you might not like me after the first treatmnet". He explained that the treatment would be painful. With the pain I was already feeling in my feet, there was no way I was going to let anyone hurt me more. Next, I bought orthotics. That helped, but still the pain and inactivity continued. Another year went by with more pain and depression. I was miserable. My masseuse said she knew someone who knows someonw who could help me. I called that person, looking for an easier, softer way. This person had broken their foot and would not be available for some time. Well, I couldn't take it anymore and set up and appointment with Dr. Lease.
Did it hurt to receive treatment? Ok, it was uncomfortable the first few times, but sometimes the disease is worse than the cure. This was one of those times. It took no more than a month and I was able to be active and productive. With regular treatments, I now hike, work remodeling my home and live a normal and for the most part foot-pain-free life. I also am aware theat Plantar Fascilitis is a real and progressive condition and maintenance is required. I suggest that future patients not be afraid of the discomfort of treatments. I wish I hadn't been.
Sincerely,
Daniel Gramlich
My chiropractic Story
By: Joan Jodocy
Before I became a patient of Dr. Lease, I was first suffering from servere and
debilitating migraines, lower back pain and stiff shoulders and neck. I recently have been having physical muscle therapy to relieve the pain and stiffness associated with a car accident
At first to relieve the pain I was taking pain relievers such as Tylenol, aspirin and hydrocodane when the pain was really bad. I wanted to find a drug free way to control the pain. Previously, I had good results from my other chiropractic experience with Dr. Mark.
I had no negative factors about becoming a patient of Dr. Lease. I had visited him occasionally when he was covering for my previous chiropractor. I was very comfortable with Dr. Lease and liked his method of adjusting.
After seeing Dr. Lease, my headaches have greatly reduced as well as my shoulder stiffness and lower back pain. After this recent car accident, Dr. Lease did some muscle therapy that loosened knotted muscles in my knee and leg. This gave me relief from some of the daily pain and discomfort.
My muscle aches from stress, which always seemed to settle in my shoulders and neck, was reduced because of my treatment with Dr. Lease. Dr. Lease is a very kind and caring person. He takes personal interested in his patient's total well being, not just body aches.
Thanks for all your help Dr. Lease!!
